Roshan the mighty


What is Roshan?


Roshan or what most of the player calls him "Rosh" is a powerful creature that lives alone in the pit which is located near the top of the river. He is the strongest neutral creep in DoTA2 and because of his high armor, high attack damage and is very tanky, It is not advisable to go and slay Roshan on your own, but instead, it is a team decision because killing it takes a lot of time and resources, so the best time to fight Roshan is when you think your team is safe like when all of the enemy team is dead or you have the observer ward in the area where you can see them and think that they cannot make to the pit in time.

Roshan's Death

When Roshan is dead he will grant bounty to the team that kills him of 150 gold for each player in that team. Roshan will randomly spawn again around 8-11 minutes after his death and there is no way to find the exact time of his next life.

If Roshan dies for the first time of the game regardless of Radiant or Dire he will drop "Aegis of the Immortal" on the ground and any hero can come and pick it up

Aegis of the Immortal is an item that can be carried by the hero. The effect of this item is it can revive the hero back to life with full health and mana at the same location after the carried hero die. Also, Aegis of the Immortal has to be used within 5 minutes after receive or it will expire


If Roshan dies for the second time of the game he will drop both Aegis of the Immortal and Cheese.

Cheese is an item that can be carried by the hero and the effect of it is that it will restore that hero's health by 2500 and mana by 1500 instantly. The cheese will be consume after use.

If Roshan dies for the third time of the game he will drop Aegis of the Immortal, Cheese, and randomly between "Refresher shard" and "Aghanim's scepter" on the ground.

Refresher shard is an item that will reset all the cooldowns of the abilities and items for hero that use it. Refresher shard will be consume after use.

Aghanim's scepter is an item that will upgrade the heroes' certain abilities permanently.




And for the fourth, fifth and so on, death of Roshan, he will drop all of the items listed above.

Vision is important!

In the game of DoTA2, "Vision" is really really important because you can observe what the enemies are doing right at that moment.
