Attack modifier in DoTA2

Attack modifiers are modifiers that apply to the unit's normal attack. These modifiers ranged from healing, damaging or disabling effects. Also, most of these modifiers have their own rules. For instance, some modifiers may apply to melee or ranged units only, some may choose to be active or manually used by the units and some may have a chance to occur on each attack.

Here are the attack modifiers in DoTA2

1. Critical Strike

- A critical strike causes the attack to deal more damage by percent.

2. Cleave

- Cleave causes the melee units' attack to deal damage in a trapezoid shape in front of them and be noted that ranged unit cannot use this modifier

3. Splash

- Splash causes the ranged units' attack to deal damage in a circular area around the damaged units
and be noted that melee unit cannot use this modifier

4. Bash

- Bash causes the attack to stun the target and deal additional damage to it

5. Lifesteal

- Lifesteal causes the attack to heal the attackers based on the damage that deal with the attack target

6. Mana break

- Mana break causes the attack to burn away some Mana from the target. Extra damages are deal equal to the Mana loss.

Roshan the mighty

What is Roshan? Roshan or what most of the player calls him "Rosh" is a powerful creature that lives alone in the pit which is located near the top of the river. He is the strongest neutral creep in DoTA2 and because of his high armor, high attack damage and is very tanky, It is not advisable to go and slay Roshan on your own, but instead, it is a team decision because killing it takes a lot of time and resources, so the best time to fight Roshan is when you think your team is safe like when all of the enemy team is dead or you have the observer ward in the area where you can see them and think that they cannot make to the pit in time. Vision is important!

In the game of DoTA2, "Vision" is really really important because you can observe what the enemies are doing right at that moment. Vision can be granted by many methods -Hero vision -Creeps vision -Some hero abilities and the most effective way to find vision is by using "Observer Ward" An observer ward is an item that can be placed on the ground and it will grant the vision around them. Enemies cannot detect the observer ward unless they carry gem of true sight or planting the sentry ward near them You should consider where to plant the observer ward based on the play style of your team. If your team is an offensive team you should try to go into enemies' jungle and plant the ward there and plan an ambush on them but if, on the other hand, your team is a defensive team.
