Disable skills in DoTA2 (part1)

Disable or CC(Crowd control) is used to call any abilities or status that prevent the heroes from acting certain actions. Disable has many types and from different sources. For example, some heroes may possess Disable abilities and purchasing some items can give you an abilities to disable too.

Here is the list of disabling in DoTA2

1.Stun

Stun is the most common disabling skill and is the most dependable one because a hero who is in the effect of stun cannot act and do anything like walking. using items or using their abilities.

Stun can be categorized into 3 subcategories

1.1 Shackle

-shackle abilities are much like regular stuns which make the target cannot do some actions but the difference is that the caster has to channel(to stand still and casting the spell) the effect.

1.2 Sleep
- Sleep is like stun, but if the sleeping target is getting damaged or attacked by heroes then the Sleep will be dispelled.

1.3 cyclone
- Cyclone is not exactly like stun because it makes the target invulnerable and any unit under it can walk pass through it.

2. Slow

Slow can reduces the unit's both movement speed and attack speed.

3.Silence
-Silence status prevents the affected units from using their abilities

4.Mute
-Mute is the opposite of silence because it prevents the affected unit from using items

5.Break

-Break makes the passive skill of some heroes disabled

Roshan the mighty

What is Roshan? Roshan or what most of the player calls him "Rosh" is a powerful creature that lives alone in the pit which is located near the top of the river. He is the strongest neutral creep in DoTA2 and because of his high armor, high attack damage and is very tanky, It is not advisable to go and slay Roshan on your own, but instead, it is a team decision because killing it takes a lot of time and resources, so the best time to fight Roshan is when you think your team is safe like when all of the enemy team is dead or you have the observer ward in the area where you can see them and think that they cannot make to the pit in time.
